Anonymous said...: The helpful illustrations of the wig have disturbingly brought back to my mind the tabloid reports a couple of years back which alleged that Steve Mcfadden (potato headed Phil Mitchell) wore one of these (borrowed from the Pantomime in which he was starring as Captain Hook) as a cunning disguise when he went dogging - apologies for this horrendous image. Maybe he got the idea for said disguise when he was leafing through the Oxford Dictionary?; 23 June 2009 at 20:22
